Don't Let Your Dreams Set Sail Without You
Stuck on what kind of experience is right for you? Consider the kind of atmosphere you’re looking forward to. Outside of your ports of call, this is where you’ll be spending your vacation after all! Each ship is made specially for the destination.
Longer, more narrow ships are conducive for river cruises, able to wind down narrow waterways and curves. They tend to be smaller with less passengers and more inline with the interests of adult passengers. Viking River Cruises and Avalon Waterways excel in the river cruise department.
Large, mass market ships are perfect for families, filled with shopping, entertainment, multiple restaurant options, and club options for younger members. Carnival Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruises, and Disney Cruises are the perfect floating cities to accommodate a range of tastes. Specialty ships vary depending on the destination.
Arctic cruise ships for example, like the kind Seabourn Luxury Expedition Cruises offer, are built to handle harsh conditions like icebergs and dangerously cold waters. They’re often smaller and offer truly unique excursions.
